Hugs to you and your family MrsM -hope all goes well.

NSD for me today, and got a welcomje phone call from my redeployment advisor that I have 'an informal chat' with a manager next week about a job that I am sooooo interested in - I've got the shakes just thinking about it, heaven only knows how I will be next week.

If you could put me down for £200 for July MrsM as usual - I had been thinking of cutting back a bit but I've decided to leave it a month and see how the prices go.

Have made a batch of strawberry muffins, but they never seem as good as the first few batches I made. They don't peak but sort of go flat on top and spread to one side. When I remove them from the tray they have to balance against one another or they fall over. I have started to use a silicon tray instead of cases, does this make a difference or is it co-incidence?

    Evening all

Again..thanks for the good wishes..... No flights yet Kaz..have to wait until Thursday for them to find out if they have a seat on friday or sunday ..but it will only be me... its all complicated ...basically when i want to come back to Germany i just ring and see if they have a seat..if not its no problem i will wait until the following week -but if hubby is with me he HAS to get back on that 1st sunday flight so he isn't AOL... so we would have to pay for a normal flight..if we can get one and then its pot luck where they land and then a taxi home from hack knows where in Germany
However if things get "critical" i have a special number to ring and they will get him to me ASAP..it has been known for them to get folks to their destination in 3 hrs via helicopter:eek: ....
So now im just making a list of what to do... getting a couple of loaves made and sliced into the freezer for hubby etc..even though he keeps telling me he is 44 and can fend for himself :rotfl: ....little does he know its partly to stop him wasting money on junk... and to get him to use up some meals i have made and frozen ;) shhhhhhhh :D

Denise...that cake takes minutes to make :T ..must try another bit now its cold ;) I reckon that is going to cut into 20pieces and i worked out it had cost approx £1.80 :D

right off i go to plan :D
    -6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.5

Spent a bit of time yesterday doing a budget - basically incomings and outgoings until the end of August. Although I have gone over this month with the challenge and will need milk and maybe a couple of other bits at the weekend, I have decided I can afford £150 per month for my groceries (to include food, toiletries, cleaning and baby things) for me, my 21 month old son and 2 cats. This can also include alcohol at home but I don't have much - maybe a bottle of wine a week. If I have any spare at the end of the month I am going to buy savings stamps ready for Christmas or start to fill up my wine rack :) I will include any takeaways and money spent on lunch at work but meals out will be counted elsewhere. Sounds organised lol - anyone would think I have a social life

Well done to those keeping on track and good luck to all for next month.

I dropped on mine in Tesco, one of the larger stores, £5 for a 6 hole muffin tray. I saw one at a cookshop at Trentham Gardens at the weekend £15.50 for a 12 hole. Lakeland sell them also, think some are a bit exp though. It does save on cases if you bake a lot and they don't stick or rust.

Evening all - just popping in to do a quick update as I forgot last week.

I'm a little over (£322.75) with 6 days to go. It's not too bad as I don't expect to spend much more now - everything bar the milk is well stocked - so whislt not on or under budget, I'll be closer than at any other time in the last 6 months.

(((Mrs M))) - all my wishes to you and yours

SAV3R - do you need to grease silcone trays or you grease proof paper?
