do tesco accept the £5 off? wasnt they a big discussion on here other week about tesco not accepting them?

    Hi there,

A while ago "the sun" were giving away coupons printed in their papers for £5 off £30 spend at morrisons. They were printed over 5 consecutive days i think. and the vouchers were valid over 5 weeks ie 1 voucher per week.

At my local tesco these vouchers were and still are being accepted.

Last week the news of the world (sunday edition) printed a voucher/coupon for £5 off £30 spend in tesco.
This voucher was valid until yesterday/today. In todays NOTW there was another voucher for £5 off in tesco.

The paper also stated that there would be another voucher in next sundays paper.

Hope this explains things better for you.

  • Hi Everyone!
I haven't disappeared off the face of the earth.....
School has been so busy!! Reports, Summer Concerts, Open mornings etc..
Good News: We've been gathering in, 'picking' lots from our garden: beautiful strawberries and raspberries, rocket, lettuce, red currants so far..
Also we've kept to well within budget so far.. and get a new budget on Thurs.
Realised that OB won't beable to get all the time off work he'd need for our CA adventure so we'll looking into doing something else.
    Will let you know what...
Haven't been able to keep up with posts, first time since joining in Feb but I do hope all the team are doing well.

    Oh Dear!

Tried to make smoothie for DS1, using a stick blender. We were only using strawberries, banana & ice cubes. The plastic ringed edge of the blender broke into pieces. Not so MS afterall. The blender was 13 yrs old though.

Don't know whether to buy another stick one, it takes up little space or a table top one that has an ice crushing facility. Argos have a Kenwood Smoothie maker for £14.99 was £24.99. Don't know if you can use these as an ordinary blender, eg for soups.
Any one have any advice please?

This might sound really sad, but I also use Excel to store my recipes, a new page for each one with a front index page. I cost some of them out too. It's good to be able to compare waht you are saving.

    Evening everyone

Jackk - we will be getting a free crate of wine for doing our electricity and gas transfer through Uswitch via the link on this website. If you go direct to Uswitch you only get a voucher for money off a crate of wine but if you go via Moneysaving Expert you get a crate free. Will let you know when and if it materialises!

Not much to report tonight as a NSD. Had slow cooked lamb in the slow cooker and the meat fell off the bone. Loads leftover so some of us will be having that tomorrow night!:D

DD is off on a residential with school for the week so one less little mouth to feed this week!

Off to bed now. Have a good week everyone.
