Update in our turnip infested little pit.:rotfl:
Todaytook DD2 for her appt in manchester with her old consultant. This was on the childrens side and now she is getting older has to move to MRI, as well as preston and chorley..Anyway, he just wanted updates on her as he has looked after her for a long time and also to wish her well. He is such a sweet and thoughtful chap..he had come out of surgery just to see her..can't ask for better than that can you? Wish they were all like that i can tell you..will really miss him, very easy to talk to!:T
This afternoon i have taken her to Preston for a diabetic fun afternoon out arranged by her nursing team..all i can say today is that it touches you the absolute dedication of the people in the NHS..without them i really think i would have gone crackers..well maybe i am, but you know what i mean.:D
Budget blown a bit today..not by much as we had a lovely dinner at the hospital..as time was ltd to get her to Preston from Manchester. Have also had to buy some taller poles for my beans as they have outgrown their other ones..and i can see flowers...hopefully when we get back from hols there will be beans galore..:rotfl: :rotfl:
Hope you are all well and fighting fit..

she will be under a consultant for a very long time..she has been since birth and we used to see him when he was an apprentice consultant..so it has been a long time!
DD1 Used to have consultants in liverpool, and wrightington for her arthritis(rsd)..so as you can see we used to tour lancashire quite regularly..Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Sounds a good day, in a very affecting way, Bob. Glad it went so well - and if you can't blow the budget a little bit on an occasion like that, well, when can you?
