Wouldn't it be easier, instead of having Brooker Dave hanging around, to have a spambot that says "DEMAND COMPENSATION" every 10 mins?

You'd miss my pearls of wisdom.

as has been mentioned get enviro health involved and get them to take samples of the food that you have keept which you sh0ould have now extracted from your bin

Which they could trample over as evidence because it has been kept in a luke warm bin!

Brooker Dave has been accused of being said troll in the past.

Then there was Dave Booker (who I haven't seen in a while) who was also accused of being a troll... And not forgetting dangeroussports...

    Oh dear.....the paranoia !

You shouldn't have let them take the food away - even though it was off and you didn't want it, it was YOUR food which YOU had paid for, and taking it away without providing you with a refund or replacement is effectively theft on their part!
theft: the generic term for all crimes in which a person intentionally and fraudulently takes personal property of another without permission or consent and with the intent to convert it to the taker's use

So they took it with the op's permission and had no intention of converting it for their own gain - seems to tick all the boxes of theft to me....

P.S. Didn't mean to hit the thanks button

I assume BD is the resurrected DB who disappeared around the same time as the equally annoying DS;)

Very occasionally he says something amusing, but mostly he's a thorn in the side as people often take him seriously and consequently he does a good job of disrupting a thread.

Interesting thread. I wont disrupt such a thread, I'll let you guys foam at the mouth and spout SOGA, Theft, S.A.S and local newspaper stuff:rotfl:

then opened the rice (yung chow fried rice or something) and it stunk! I just got a whiff so i smelt it and omg i was nearly sick! Something was definately off, i love chinese food and i know it doesn't smell like that!

You didn't even know what you were eating yet knew exactly what it should smell like?

IF it did turn out to be off then you would be entitled to a refund of whatever the rice cost. There was nothing wrong with anything else so you shouldn't be refunded the full amount, just as if you buy a loaf of bread and only use half you're not entitled to half your money back because you chose not to eat the second half.
