Don't forget to check your loacal market. Ours has a great sweet stall, and if you want bulk you could always come to a deal with tem. This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!
Current Pay Off Target : £1500 :mad:0 -
There's also the option of the pound shop.
Why do I never go in there and spend just a pound though?:rotfl:Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

At a family wedding recently the bride put the traditional 5 sugared almonds (bought in bulk - as you could do with choccies) in little voile bags bought v cheaply from ebay. They were v v inexpensive, looked gorgeous and fulfilled her wish to have favours.
Lots of guests (esp older more traditional types) thought they were brill and took them home to give to the grandchildren
. Lots of others ate the sweets and left the bags behind and I collected up around 20 and have recycled them to hold all my costume jewellery separately and nicely!
So it was all good!0 -
Hey!
I brought my wedding favours from ebay.
100 sweets for £14 (sounds alot but when you see them youll understand!) There little pieces of rock with just married written in the middle!
You can get them in 3 different colours too!
My little favours bags were also from ebay totalling about £5 for 100
xxI'm getting married in August 2015:j0 -
Hi,
Thanks everyone! :j
I'm still looking at all your ideas, I liked the Thorntons idea but would still be really expensive, now off to search ebay again!! Like the rock idea, should I just search for rock??
Bought a waistcoat and cravat for my nephew from BHS yesterday someone suggested it on another thread....slightly cheaper than the £79 I was quoted for hiring him a 2 yr olds suit!!! :rotfl:
My friend says her husband can get balloons from qualatex?? so hopefully they might be quite cheap.
I'm also considering following the video to make my own bouquet to see if I can do it, hayfever might interfere tho!! Going to a florist Saturday but have a feeling it will be expensive:eek:
Thanks again x[0 -

Do you think they would be ok in organza bags or look too cheap??

I think they'd look really classy in organza bags!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
