:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: I can picture you now Moggins with your Pukka Pad in your hand turning it from front to back with a frown on your face wondering what the hell we are excited about :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I am cryig with laughter here:rotfl: :rotfl:

Does your pad not sing too moggins?:rotfl:

I was thinking the same thing! :rotfl:

I love stationery. My daughter has just bought a pukka pad for when she goes to university after I mentioned them to her. She also bought a very small one for 'rough' notes to put in first and then transfer them nicely into the large A4 one! A girl after my own heart! Don't think I would want to spoil the pages in the nice new A4 one either! :D Poor Moggins, perhaps yours is faulty? :D

What a waste of a day that was....I had one of those days where there was a black cloud hanging over everything. Dorry - the answer to your question is "not good".

My achievements...made some muffins and a Weetabix cake - had two muffins in lieu of a proper evening meal. I can't be bothered with anything today, not even to cook a bit of pasta and chuck a tomato in it.

My other achievement was to sell some shares I had left over from when my building society became a bank - that'll go towards clearing some lingering debt.

Moggins..sorry to hear about your having to cancel your hair appointment, how disappointing for you. Hope you can rearrange for another day soon.

Ageandjo...hang in there, those horrible feelings aren't going to be around for much longer. BTW you are most definitely not "past it" at 32!!! Have some pity on us poor old 40-somethings!!

Tootles -- my Pukka Pad is still in its original snowy white state. I don't know what to put in mine either. I have the academic one, I like the pull out year planner and the world atlas and the moveable dividers with pockets in them. Maybe it could be my money file...will think about that.

    Kyle, Aberdeen sounds fabulous.

I think I am going to have an early night and read some more Tightwad Gazette - I'm on around page 180...just another 600 or so pages to go!!

I'm very pleased with my Pukka Pad too and i haven't decided what to use it for yet either!

((((((HUGS)))))) joannasmum, poor you! We tend to leave the back door ajar so the cats can wander in and out, but won't any more after what's happened to you!

Ageandjo and everyone else with PMT - have you tried Evening Primrose Oil? I find it really helps, and I remember a teacher friend of mine started taking it and said her class was wondering what had happened to the "screaming harpy" who used to teach them one week in every four!:D

I tend to find lately that I don't get a chance to get on the pc until the evening, and the Daily Thread now tends to be quite lengthy by then so I often find I haven't got the energy to post by the time I've caught up with everyone's news, but I just wanted to say - I THINK YOU'RE ALL LOVELY!!!!!:A :A :A :D:D :rotfl: :rotfl:  (no I haven't been drinking! It's just really good to know there are so many nice, caring, supportive people around!)

HUGS all round because you all deserve them.

    Me too.
I wonder if Worcester is out of the question? I'm not sure how long it would take to get there but I think it's only about 60 miles or so & I wouldn't mind driving & picking people up?

Can I join the Empty Pukka Pad club please?
Mine is a nice blue stripey academic one. I'm sure there is something I should put in it.... but the I keep thinking that on the other hand, maybe there is a better use.
I thought about giving it to DS for his home ed. stuff. But he didn't seem excited about it, so didn't want to waste it on someone who wouldn't appreciate it!
I could use it for menu planning & cleaning schedules, but would that be too scruffy with the way I change my mind about things - it wouldn't be very neat for long - and I'd rip pages out....
..... and I've already got a household planner A4 file - and a diary. How many more things can I fill in - not to mention all the scruffy bits of paper I make lists on.
    Oh, decisions, decisions........
