BS-Thats expensive! If I have to use my council for meals on wheels..its £2.30 including a pudding! Maybe thats for 2 days:confused:
Blimey thats cheap. I wonder if my council do them. She didn't even get a pudding. Also they don't knock very loud on the door so 2 days this week she didnt hear them and they went again. Then they bought her sunday dinner at 7.30pm and she won't answer the door after dark so she didn't get that either. Don't know if she still has to pay for them though.

Does anyone else feel like me at times? I feel fed up with cooking from scratch, watching what I spend, sometimes just sometimes I feel like splashing out on something that will no doubt make me feel guilty in the long run, don't get me wrong I treat myself but sometimes I see others with a trolly full of this that and the other and there's me searching for all the yellow sticker stuff.
Perhaps it's just me or PMT has kicked in again this afternoon:confused:

    Evening everyone :hello:

Gosh! You lot HAVE been busy! ((((hugs)))) to all those people who need them.

ageandjo - I agree with the "can't be bothered" attitude. There are just sometimes when I get home from work and want to collapse into a little heap, however I then remember that I need to cook and eat. Every now and again we have a pasta and sauce, which is dead simple and lazy! Tonight we're having a turkey stir fry where my "lazy" bit is cutting open the packet of stir fry sauce. I could really do without it, but as I get home earlier than DH then it's only fair that I cook most nights.

I have a grotty cold that has developed fully today! I asked the children in my class to put up their hands if they had a cold and told them that it was their fault that I kept running to get a tissue! :rotfl: I came home early-ish, which has been nice. Needless to say, DH has just called to say that he's leaving work, so he won't be back until 8pm!

Anyway, I'll take my snivelly cold elsewhere :D

Hi beachbeth, I'll try to explain if I can...

A thread was started on OS.

I merged it with another one on a similar topic.

The thread went way off topic.

So I split off the off topic posts and asked the OP if she would prefer to have the original thread on DT (Discussion Time board) or the daily thread.

She chose the daily thread so here it is.

I hope that makes sense......Sorry for the confusion. :o
