P.S. Kitch, cavweb is VXON now (vauxhallownersnetwork)
I backed off the modified and enthusiast vxl sites 2 years ago. I used ti attend Billing every year - and was in the market for a 2dr convertible cav mk2 at one time.
There used to be a mk3 OC as well - could well have all amalgamated in to one group (they were finding insurance issues and club status hard for showing)
found it - it still exists http://www.cavmk3oc.com/Praying at the church of MSE should be compulsory!

What problem did you have with yours??

Mine was stuck in limp mode.
That's what it was doing, but now OH can't get the cable adjustment right and it won't go into park and reverse.
He cleaned the selector switch up and that solved the limp mode problem, but now we have a car which will not go backwards......not good seeing as it's parked UP the drive :rotfl:Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
LMAO!
Put car into park position.
Take the switch off the spindle that sticks out from the top of the box and use a spanner to move the spindle back to the park position. Check this by making sure the reverse lights come on when you think you have it in reverse.
It's not as bad/messy as it sounds.
Is it a Vauxhall by any chance?0 -

It's a Cav dippy.

Big knife, rip the tyres off, take them to local recycling thingy, tenner per wheel0
