Been and paid the deposit on the caravan, sorted collecting it next week after the tow bar is fitted, a :o slight technicality that he doesn't get the car until Saturday and has no towbar, Toyota were told to fluff off wanting £797 to fit one, paying £287 elsewhere for the same thing. I just turned to DP after the guy put the sold sign on and said 'IT'S MINE!!!' :rotfl: My 2 demands are in there, a cooker rather than just a hob and a decent washroom (especially with DSs fear of public toilets)

As far as driving it goes mumoftwo don't worry driving it will be my partners job at least for now! I am considering at some point doing the course, see if I can find the courage but not just yet, because with my partner working weekends usually it'll be a midweek when the kids are off holiday for us and it'll be just sat there on a weekend. The car he's had bought for him should tow it no problem according to the matching sites and we have enough sense to remember being stuck behind one, pull over when we can if there is traffic stuck behind etc. PF we did consider a static, my neighbours have one, but think we need the flexibility of a tourer. I've been writing a shopping list tonight, ARGH! Need so many other things, I can see there being big browsing and shopping trips. Shell you are right, it's the being able to take the boys on holiday easier (aswell as my babies - the dogs) which has made me want one for ages. I get sick of mucky looks in B&Bs/Hotels etc when they are acting rather 'special'.

kaz ((big fluffy hugs)) **passes wet kipper for slapping your OH too** why do they always do the !!!!!! strop thing?
chunky a belated happy birthday x
Mudbath ((hugs)) my Ds2 is 7 and he's horrible at the minute, is it the age I wonder as his brother was gastly at 7 aswell. He's defiant and rude which I am not used to as he was the better behaved of the 2.
    Jamie, take it easy.
soappie, I definately remember 2CVs because my friend had a 'Dolly' :D I think the top speed of the little girl was 35mph or something silly.
PF - your GP sounds great, not many like that now. Good luck for your DD aswell!
    Johanne well done :D

Phew pleased I got the dry washing in at 9pm when I remember as it's bucketing it down now, wonder if we'll get thunder because it's really warm! I have remembered DS2 left his cap on the trampoline, but tough it can stay there now!

Land of child grot is definately on the list for tomorrow here, my room needs a tidy (ok well more like a skip to just empty it but will make a start) so will do that while I supervise. I was planning on mowing the back lawn which still hasn't been finished but the weather looks determined to stop me. Oh then there is more assignment work to do.

Catch you all at some point tomorrow!
One day I might be more organised...........

    Morning all

Right I need to crack on today. Kids are driving each other nutty already so expecting to have lots of squabbles to sort out. So todays efforts will be

    Kitchen
    S & S
    Dishes
    Floor
    Sort fridge

    Lounge
    Hoover
    Remove child gibble

    Bathroom
    S & S
    Floor

    Porch
    Mop floor

    Girls room
Not sure if there is any point but 10 min pic up
    Dust & Hoover

    Other tasks

Trip to Docs for DD's correct prescription (will phone first to check its been done)
    Shopping
    Birthday card
Inform School & Nursery of change in my mobile Number (letters)
    Make Lemonade scones
    Make muffins
    Make sausage rolls
Take brisket out of freezer for tomorrow
    Mow back garden
    Do some weeding out there
    Load of washing
    HHI

Just checked weather forecast and it says fine today so will get wash on now.

Johanna - Fab news about the sofa. Things seem to be generating lots of interest at the momnt on ebay, I put stuff on yesterday and within 15 mins have watchers on all but 1 item, the car seat now have 5 watchers, 2 of the other items have 16. Maternity stuff usually sells well, I shifted a load of my stuff that way. Sending you ebay vibes.

ETA -is it now the norm on ebay to have so many people mailing you asking you how much to end the auction early? I have had about 6 request fo this.
I guess I should crack on now hot an hour to wait till I phone Doctors as no chance of getting through for 1/2 or so.

Morning all, actually slept in until 7.30 which is most unusual for me.

Denise - I can't imagine NZ being cold enough to put the heating on!
G&B and Jamie - hope you're both OK

Don't know what I'm going to do today. It all depends on the weather really. It's reasonably bright at the moment but the forecast isn't good. The Met Office are warning of heavy rain again today so I'd be silly washing the bed sheets.

I do have to go to Tesco. I have a friend coming to lunch tomorrow so need to get provisions for that - I'm thinking salmon and salad. But I shall bath in a moment and then see where the day takes me.

Wont really be working off the list today, i never do on a friday:o Have LO's bedding in the wash, (was wet, any advice welcome for dry nights). Just need to empty DW, do a couple of dishes, quick S&S and then a ton of ironing!!!! Working tonight, think it'll be a bit of a weird shift.

Hugs to all that need them, kaz, mudbath, jamiedodger, pigpen and anyone else i've missed. Cant remember pigpen is the funeral today? Sorry my memory is terrible right now:o

G n B - re Dry nights how old is your little one? DD2 still wears a nappy at night and she will be 4 next month. TBH with DD1 we never really pushed night training. We couldnt wake her up and put her on the loo at night as she would have stayed awake. She was dry through the night before her 4th birthday. DD2 is a heavier sleeper so think that is why it is taking longer but my theory is she will do it when she is ready, once she starts having dry nappies I will move her to pull ups for a few weeks and see how it goes.

I am feeling a bit  , I have just picked up all the glittery sticker, sequin art and craft stuff that the girls put on the lounge floor. Figured rather than make big deal out of it just do it yourself. Just walked into their bedroom and its all over the floor in there room too. Well I AM NOT picking that up (stamps feet like a proper grown up:rotfl: ).

    Kitchen done (just floor)
    Lounge tidied

Just need to run through with hoover, will then mop floors. Best think about tea. Got some HM chicken pies in freezer so may do that with veggies and roasties. Best get one out, am sure I could cook from frozed as meat already cooked but it doesnt seem right (although you do that with bought pies:confused: ) does everyone think like that or is it just my sad little mind:o .

She is 4 1/2, and has been in pull ups for ages. She is a really heavy sleeper which i think is part of the problem, we lift her before we go to bed, she has always been good at getting herself back to sleep so that isnt an issue.

GnB - Sure the wise woman that is Pigpen will be on with advice soon. Does it bother her/upset her wearing the pull ups? As I say I am tempted to just leave it, figure the nappies/pull ups have got to be cheaper than washing the bedding every night :o .

Thanks tiptoes and kazmeister, it could be stress I suppose but I don't feel any more stressed than normal. I have been very good though and not taking paracetamol all the time, I have only taken it three or four times over the last week - off to the docs in a bit anyway!
