lil'me - great news about the caravan! Have to say I;m a bit envious - my biggest craving this pregnancy has been to go camping! I think I'm going bonkers.. supposed to be for a night next weekend, friends are having a big wedding party in a field but that does rather depend on whether I can really be bothered to trek to Devon for a weekend!

Nicki Glad the events of the morning have not effected you to much. i have an alley key but some bright spark has filled the keyhole with no more nails, gggrrrr!!!

Well toook DS to soft play today with sis, BIL and DN. If we expected our son's t play together sis and I where very wrong, they fought thewhole time  .
Then we wnet for a mooch around the new shopping centre that has opened today. Though with so many people with the same idea decided that after a rough time in the soft play I'd be better coming home.

So a nice cup of tea anyone.:coffee: :coffee:

Just waved off DH and DS - they are off to the cinema tonight with a stash of snacks (so I hope they don't get confiscated. I don't think our cinema does that though). Still waiting for DD1 who went out for a walk 2 hours ago with two friends but isn't back yet.

Managed to mop kitchen and bathroom floors today and not much else really :D

Dinner was curry. I'm rubbish at curry though . I did ask DD2 earlier what I should do for dinner and her reply was "chips and chocolate" :rotfl:. Mind you she didn't eat her dinner so maybe chips and chocolate would have been better :D

Anyway off to do the dishes then I'm getting the sewing machine out.

Hugs Jamie, take it easy for a couple of days. I always find that it's often just AFTER the funeral that it really hits home...

G&B - hope you're OK and wishing you strength for tomorrow.

Well, the fish tanks are moved (hurrah!) and furniture is now in its final place and I'm pooped. But it's a nice pooped. Just need to sort out some dinner and then I'll flop for the rest of the evening I think.

I've got Mount Laundry in the kitchen. The weather has been rubbish for the last few days, so the tumble dryer has been working overtime. I had to give up washing until I had some of it dried! How annoying!

I went to collect DD's prescription and put in my request. Our GP was behind the counter and started chatting to me, then asked me to go in her room. (I hasten to add that it was late and there were no patients left) Anyway, we ended up up having a long chat about DS's GF. She's given me a few suggestions, including offering to let GF stay with us "while you get settled" as she thinks they might rip my arm off! She said she got the feeling that they would happily be rid of her! She also has a friend who is a solicitor and asked if she can pass on my phone number. She works with the Child Protection Unit, so may have some useful advice or where to find it!:T My doctor is an :A

I've still not heard anything about the 2 jobs I was being put forward for, and both agencies said they would let me know today!

DD has an audition for "Are you smarter than a 10 year old?" on Saturday in Cardiff, then I'm taking her to her friend's in Bristol. DS and GF are coming to Bristol so we can go to the museum etc. Her parents have decided to go to Cribbs Causeway shopping and her mother text me this afternoon to see if they can drop GF here at about 8.00am!!!:mad: They obviously don't appreciate weekends like we do. You;d think they would be glad of a lie in. I wouldn't say know, because I know she would get it in the neck if I did, so she can come and lay on the sofa to have a rest! Nutters!

DH left for work at 6.00 and won't be home till 9.00ish so he'll be shattered and DD was having dinner at a friend's before she gets the train home, so I hope she won't be too late as I'm so tired. DS and I are just sitting with our feet up, but I might go and flick a duster somewhere!

    Night all. x

PinkFairy - Sounds like you have a fab GP there. Sounds like persuading them to let their DD come and live with you might not be so difficult after all.

Lil_me - Great news about the caravan. I like the thought of a caravan but DH said only if it was a static one. His memories are of 70's holidays when he was a kid, sure things have moved on a bit since them;) . Bet it will be easier for the boys to have familiar surrounding too.

Used the old drops as they are still in the 4 week period. Will do another dose first thing and then pop to doctors to collect the other prescription.

Came on to do a list for tomorrow but I have got a blinding headache so cannot be bothered really:o .

ETA - just checked quidco and got £120 payment pending - woo hoo!!

When does the carp ever end, another pig of a day for the kaz household but first

    Big hugs for jamiedodger

Wow for lilme and the caravan. My OH said to me this morning something about getting one, might be cos his best friend is always texting him saying theyre away in the tin tent, so maybe he's thinking about it.

Nicki that was some event this morning, exciting but incredibly frightening too

Shell hugs for DD and any blueberry muffins left,

Pink Fairy - you're a star, nice to know you're getting some support

hugs and hellos to everyone else and hope you all had a good day

So today, DD, niece and I off for our day out, find that one of the little villages we wanted to go to had roadworks and a 16 mile detour so decided to miss that and go onto the wave pool as planned about 30 miles away. Had to double back across country and unfortunately took a junction too wide and had a prang with another car. Luckily noone was hurt but do ya need it. My cars not too bad, scrape on the bumper and broken glass on light fitting, and a piece of plastic trim came off (in one piece) Thank goodness for solid old Saab, unfortunately the Mercedes has a scrape right down the side. All I wanted to do was come home but I still had to do the round trip for the swimming, talk about nervous as hell and tomorrow I have to take niece back to Lowestoft which is normally about an hour and a half journey so will take prob 2 hours for me 2moro, and I dont want to go now. Plus I still have to go to Police station to report the incident before we go.

Just when you think everything is going great, I just wanna  . OH is being good about it although his first reaction was for !!!!!! and he's gone to work now. I know my problems are nothing in comparison to some others, so tomorrows another day and hopefully it will go smoothly.
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!
