Good afternoon - study on hold again because we've bought a caravan, well actually no we still have paperwork etc to sort for it but :D all happy now. Much more than we planned to spend but got a VERY good deal. The closest we can find is a year older and £10k, this ones £7k :D It'll make us tighten the purse strings in a way to pay for it but will help us have cheap holidays because we can take the dogs with us (I pay £25 a night kennel fees and can geta site pitch for less than that!!) :( downside is something else to clean, another oven to clean!

serena, thank you and I think this is my treat to myself, all be it a rather LARGE one I've wanted one since I was a kid, I'm a roaming person at heart. Means when DP goes away we can go with him, not sure quite how enthusiastic he'll be about that once it becomes a reality! I'm even considering doing a course so I can maybe tow it myself (currently the thought scares me senseless)

Sorry shell it's glorious here **passes brolly**
One day I might be more organised...........

Right, stairs and bedrooms vacuumed, lounge doors de-gunked, hallway walls and woodwork to be de-gunked next.

Got slightly waylayed by twins who wanted me to help them build their remote controlled lego spider..now DS2 is twittering for toast but he will have to wait for dinner now (his stomach is like a bottomless pit, but he is a right scrawny lanky drink of water!!)
Twins, twice the laughs, twice the fun, twice the mess!:j:j

Back from Docs. Ear drops but I forgot to take the packaging for the ones from the hospital so she wanted me to check they were the same when i got home - guess what, they are not. So I am meant to go back in the rain to collect another prescription and get it filled at the chemist. I have some of the drops left which say discard after 4 weeks - thats nearly up so do you think it will be ok to put them in tonight and then get the next lot tomorrow?

The house looks like I have done nothing all day (well bathroom is ok) so gonna do HHC whilst I fling tea in the oven HM spicy chicken pizza - yum.

I have also been naughty and bought blueberry muffins in Somerfield so have just scoffed 2:eek: .

Congrats on your caravan Lil-me - do go for that course on how to tow - you CAN do it and it would be really handy for you to be able to take over the driving should the need arise.

Well, I've glossed all the architraves around the new windows and the kitchen door. It's so bright white, you need sunglasses :rotfl:I was so pleased - the weather stayed fine all afternoon as I painted. Just as I was cleaning the brushes and things, the cloud started rolling in and it looks really ominous - just checked the met office web site and we have a flash warning of heavy rain from now up until 10pm. So, I've brought the washing in sharpish and battened down the hatches! DS brought the table in from the car for me but we're not going to shift fish tanks until his mate comes round in a bit - an extra pair of burly arms will help!

So, as I have a small break, I've just poured myself a well earned G&T cheers!
