The reps round here are a waste of time.
When I took my loan with them, I was going to repay it early anyway, but weeks passed with no rep calling, I was sent a letter saying the rep was unable to call and that they would in a few weeks to collect all the back payments, they never called, months had passed and by then I hyad received a letter from Provident head office saying that if I failed to make payment in 14 days the account would be passed to debt collectors, I went into one of there offices with all that I owed them, in cash and they refused to take it saying "we cant take money" I thought
I would never use Provident again, as I have received nasty letters from them and there level of maners is rubbish.
I think its pointless writing to them, as even when I went to there office they couldnt help, good ideal though.
The only good thing is they never marked my credit file, by I think the debt colletion agency removed it,
My advise - stay well clear of Provident personal credit at all costs they dont want you to repay the money early so they can charge you 183.2% APR   :eek:DELETE ACCOUNT.

I was let down with Capital One a few weeks ago, got a letter saying "Your card will be with you in 7 days after signing and returning the enclosed agreement"
However, I rang them after 14 days had passed and no thing, told me they did another check and that they had refused me:(
I was disappointed, I really had thought I was accepted.
I will try another credit card once afew serachs drop off
Around 2 months time I think till most of them come off:cool:DELETE ACCOUNT.

Thats what I am trying to do now, have to admit im 1 month in nearly with no credit applications but its hard as you really want to re-apply for a card now, but I keep telling myself waiting will make me more likely to get a card:j

I know the feeling.
I have never owned a credit card, but cant get one for some unknown reason to myself.
I admit I have had a little bad credit but I only have one default now and one late payment, I am putting it down to electoral register not informing CRAs correctly and having to many searchs, I think longest I have got was around 5 months, then I applied for credit.
I have 30 active credit accounts:oDELETE ACCOUNT.
