whatdowedonext, there is one thing I can promise you:
You will emerge from this stronger, wiser and happier. It may not seem possible, but it is true.
Its all about small steps, a saying is 'miile by mile it'll take a while, but inch by inch it a sinch. Hope this all means something to you, and will make your journey a little easier.

Hi Whatdowedonext
Those who throw stones should not live in glass houses!! In my job I look after high salaried/ high value clients...the number of whom are in that `there but for the grace of god go I` mindset. In this current market place no one is in a comfortable financial situation...everything cost more...much more!!!
If someone is critical of your position ask yourself `why is that?`...is it because it is a little too close for comfort????
Take it from someone who has see it many times..the most critical are often those trying to `keep up appearances`!!

I can't add any more to what everyone else has other than keep posting sweet. It does a world of good to get it all out.
Baby steps are the way to go and you will get there.

Hi All
We're moving into rented tomorrow!! Will seem strange as the children go to school next to our house sorry the Mortgage Company's house so will walk past it mon to friday. Kids are so matter of fact they seem to adapt much better than us unstable adults!!
So good luck to everyone this week if you are either moving, having interviews, deciding what to do or going BR. Will be back on as soon as Sky and BT get their act together.
Lots of hugs and luck

Hope the move goes well - you'll be surprised at how resilient the kids are, and this represents the beginning of a whole new start for your family :grouphug:Get free advice before embarking on bankruptcy: CCCS 0800 138 1111 National Debtline 0808 808 4000

Hope all goes well!
Blimey black sheep eh! Well join the club, so am I hahaha!
My sis is a regional personnel officer of a company, my bro-in-law is high up in a gas company, my sis-in-law is an area manager in another, and...this is the best... my husbands brother is... ready... a financial advisor for a major bank!!!!! Me and my husband? Living in rented accomodation and BANKRUPT!!! But! it could so easily be them, (which I wouldn't wish on any of them) My husband had a really good job, was made redundant, and different things happened in our lives and now we're here! And we're dealing with it and much happier than having all that debt hanging over our heads.
So don't worry, there's more of us than you think! Just get into that house and get settled. Once you've sorted yourself and your money out you'll be a million times better, and sod what other people think! Just be glad that you, your OH, and kids are ok. That's the most important thing.
Good luck:)Me before I found this forumAnd me after going through BR with everyone's help :j

Hi everyone
I cannot believe it's been a month since we've posted anything!! We are now settled and have internet etc etc set up.
So it's been so busy that I only just went and got the BR forms from the Court. That is a strange thing I've never been to a Crown Court before and it is fairly overwhelming and having to ask where to go to get the br forms I felt quite ashamed. Everyone was very nice so if anyone has any tips on filling out the forms I'd appreciate it.
Although we have come to a stand still on the BR front the mc haven't we have a court date of 20th Aug Possession claim. We have rung them and said we are no longer living there and would like to voluntarily hand the keys back in. They are sending the forms out we have read the posts on what to sign for and what not so feel happy with that.
Not sure there is enough time to stop the court hearing though.
We had council tax arrears at the beginning of the year and had been paying them off via an agreement (had a visit from the baliffs). We stopped paying it last month there's not much left to pay off but they've sent a letter saying they'll be visiting the old house which is empty to collect goods. Will they be able to trace our new address and if we go br will that cancel their rights to our goods?
I think the sooner we get BR under way the better, what do you think?
Speak soon
