Thanks for that. I did look at google calendar before I posted but thought it was an online calendar. Am I wrong? Wanted something to use that I didn't have to connect to the 'net to access if thats possible.

Thanks for that DGCom, i've downloaded it and am having a play at the moment! I looked at the mozilla website too before I posted but missed this. Although customizing it is limited, it looks like it's just what I needed for my desktop.

No worries, glad I could help. Have found lots of useful software (including Sunbird) on the 8daysaweek CD.

Sunbird is an Alpha version at the moment, so beware of crashes! But it seems to have behaved reasonably well for me so far

I found this great little program a while back. It's called Pivot Stickfigure Animation. You move points on a stickman and can save them into a .gif file.
Have a look, it's dead simple and it is less than 0.5mb!!!

My HDD is on it's way out and I need some software to copy the contents to an external USB HDD. The idea is to replace my internal HDD and then boot and copy the contents from the external HDD.

I started searching at the beginning of the thread but got fed up after a few pages. So if anyone can recommend some freeware to carry out the task it would be appreciated.
