    You're very welcome :)

There's no real reason to write a thank you if you've already pressed the thanks button (that's why it was put there) but I have to admit, it's nice to hear (read) it sometimes :)

Right - I'm off to watch mastermind to find out how thick I am :D

Am just keeping an eye on the receipts this month to start and at the mo it stands at £168.11 paid out (my month running from 25thg to 25th). Sounds MASSIVE but this is for 2 adults and 3 kids, 2 of whom are in full time nappies(the kids that is :D ). Also, freezer is full to bursting, as are cupboards so am just topping up with fresh fruit and veg, mil and bread as needs must.

Normally by now I would have spent at least £200 and would be going to shops again Sat. What a difference this site has made, thanks all. Might just be able to afford the mortgage this month!

Did a quick check of the freezer this morning and all looks lovely....or nearly so anyway. My Dad gave me some potatoes at the weekend...so now we have potatoes coming out of our ears (well almost). I'm hoping that its going to be a cheap month...and so far its looking good.

Had Tesco delivery today. Spent £68. I'm quite pleased, though add that to last weeks £119 and I've only really got £40 per week for the next 2 weeks. Have got to get get chicken breasts and sack off potatoes when I go into town on friday.
Everything is stocked up so I'm hoping that I can keep things ticking over and stay on budget this month.

My budget for September was £50 and the real total was £49.23!!! Yay!

Might try and get it down to £40 this month but I'm not going to sweat it too much as I reckon fifty's pretty good!

Edit: just me and the cat to buy for, BTW, before I scare people!

I have now managed to spend £58.72 which brings my total spend to £102.71.

It seems as though i have spent a lot of my budget considering it is only the 5th, but i should only need to buy milk and fruit now:)
