    I would say a good job is one that pays at least 25 000 pounds per year.
    :confused::confused::confused::confused:
    You could pay me twice that and still I wouldn't sell consolidation loans to people in financial distress.
    A good job is not all about money.

    Because that is the sort of money you need to live well and you would have a job where you were expected to be a mindless robot.

    Perhaps because of this: http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money-savers/article.html?in_article_id=408022&in_page_id=5

    If we could get Phil a salary of £25k, he'd be at optimum happiness :grin:

    Haven't you asked this before, Phil?

    A good job is one you look forward going to, you feel rewarded, you're satisfied at the end of the day. Not sure mindless robots get that.... :confused:

    This means different things to different people so there isn't one answer.

    Specifically, lots of qualifications might open doors in certain specialist fields, but generally don't lead necessarily to a "good job". Attitude, personal qualities and experience get you a lot further, creating more options and therefore more likely to lead to the above.

    Or work with Riq - for me working with good people always makes a job more enjoyable. I used to work in the "pot wash" of an industrial canteen and loved that because of the craic.

    PS - I don't know Riq - just taking his (her?) word for it!

    Generally if you earn less than 25k you have no variety in your day to day work and it is just repeativeboring stuff. When you earn over 25 k you get variety in your tasks.
