I don't like chasing in case they don't like me for it.
What evidence have you to say that they won't like you for chasing up a request submitted nearly six months ago?
Ok, so what can you personally do right now to get the ball rolling/speed the process up?0 -

It is nothing really major but just a bit for experience of something else.
I am going to chase for this training soon.
When are you going to chase for this training? Give us a day and a time and be back on this board after that day and time, telling us when you are booked in for your training!0 -
It is nothing that grand you check the emergency lights, that the fire doors aren't blocked on a weekly basis.:beer:0

I [strike]may[/strike] will regret getting drawn into this thread but !!!!!!
would "you would have a job where you were expected to be a mindless robot." be considered a good job?
I've regretted seeing it at all...do we get paid for keeping this going in all its glory? For what I've done...I start again...And whatever pain may come ...Today this ends... I'm forgiving what I've done -AF since June 20070 -

Should give you enough time to come up with a lie.

SP - a fire warden's course is 2 days max and to become a first aider you need to do a 5 day course to get the First Aid at Work certificate which is valid for 3 years. Ask your employer and book it...go on do it today, not next week, not tomorrow but today. Whilst you are at it, book yourself on a personal development course (Navigator if you are a man and Springboard if you are a woman), can't rate these courses highly enough - these will help with your confidence issues.
If you are asked to shadow someone then do so if it means you getting a different job.
Instead of saying what you can't do concentrate on what you can - its what disabled people like me do all the time.0 -

I've only just come back to this thread (I've been working:rolleyes: ) and this comment has left me speechless. What utter crap spoken by someone who has no life experience at all.:mad:Gwlad heb iaith, gwlad heb galon0
