I would like to become a first aider and fire officer because whilst they are not a promotion they are something else new and more experience to have.:beer:0

You could get the experience when someone is off sick if they let you act up but it is not really allowed for a few days.
When did you request it?
What timescales did they give you for setting up the job shadowing?
Have you chased them about it?
What can you personally do right now to get the ball rolling/speed the process up?0 -

What do you need to do to go on a first aid course and the fire safety course?
Have you already done this?
If not, when are you going to do it?
How important is this to you?0 -

I think all in all it is about 5 days full time of courses.
It is nothing really major but just a bit for experience of something else.
I am going to chase for this training soon.:beer:0 -
