SS, looks like you'll have a coach trip going from the South West! Think the nearest one is Brizzl...? or is it the one on the M6 just past the RAC building?

yep - brizzl is nearest for me. There's always talk of one at Southampton but it never comes to anything.

    Morning

Happy diary Bunny; the SOA looks strict but doable.

Bunny, will you be starting a "present drawer" for your kids & family & for any parties they go to? Maybe you can put your "presents" budget into another account to be used when it is needed, rather than maybe being "lost" with your other money?

    Hi Sea,
My son is a size 3-4 at the minute. (That's with a bit of leaway, but I have been buying him size 5 tops because I don't mind if they are big) he's not even 3 til next week! My friend emailed me last night and said she has a load of clothes for Joe, they will be triple han, but the last time I had some off off her, they were BRILL! He's still wearing a load.

    Hi Snags...
Hummm, lie in...does waking up at half 6 but not getting my large buttock out of bed til 8 count?
(Bearing in mind, I had 4 calls from XOH before 8 because of arranging getting kids to school-how can one person make it so difficult??????)

    Anyhoo,
Last night I managed to get DS a birthday cake with a dinosaur on it! Yeah Tesco! And I also went to Argos to get the Remote Control Dinosaurs as requested and only paid £13.42 (?) for them instead of £19.99! Result. He shall be plased with those. I also got him some clothes but he won't care about those, lol. Tescos ranges of boys clothes are so sweet right now and the quality is great, and everything is 20% off! I was chuffed.

I got paid today and my CHB, so when I looked on internet banking, it was rather exciting-must remember NOT to spend all my money...lol

Seriously though, I find it all a bit scary being totally in control of my money again...I messed it up royally in the past I cannot go down that path again!

Sounds like you had a good DFW shop yesterday with those bargains Bunny. I wish tesco would do nicer stuff for girls...its all a bit strappy and sparkly for my liking...the boys stuff like you said is fab.

You will adjust to your budget and keeping control of the spending...its like everything else, takes a while to get used to it but then becomes second nature. Your doing well so far in the fact you have a budget and your not just putting your head in the sand and spending!
I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....
