saversarn,
I don't know if you use ebay, but you can pick up some decent stands, not to mention little bits and bobs, on ebay for quite cheap.
Also, and I apologise to OP for taking this off topic, but do you run a cake making business? Do you do it from home or do you have premises?
Thank you,
Linzi x0 -
As do mine... I just trim the peak off - it keeps my daughter quiet if nothing else

Seeing as others have posted pics, I thought I'd join in
Sorry the pic is a bit blurry.
These are soooo pretty!
My sugar sprinkles are from Sweden, sorry....I bought them there. They came in a big box (350g), also come in white http://totallyswedish.com/index.php?module=pdetail&pnavid=29&pid=78 (500g). It's called pearl sugar. They only seem to have the white on this website, I've never seen it for the domestic market here, but used to use it at catering college a long time ago for putting on rock cakes or something, can't exactly remember what!
British sugar has it listed, but only 10kg or 25kg sacks!
I don't feel I've been very helpful here...

I was in Sainsburys today and I saw a box of 4 American style cupcakes for £4.99. I could not believe it. Mind you the packaging was lovely.
They see to be very popular since Mrs Beckham received a years supply (delivered daily) from a celeb for a birthday gift. I suppose it will make a nice changes from Peas and mung beans. !!!!!!!0 -
No matter what I do I have never managed to make anything that pretty, they probably sell well because people who buy them think they are getting something brilliant as they are so expensive. I definately wouldn't regardless of how well off I was buy something so expensive but do appreciate how nice they are.One day I might be more organised...........

GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -

I can't imagine Ms beckham eats cake every day!!! Maybe the kids eat them and she has two crumbs a week !0 -
This is much more probable !! I wonder if the celeb that sent them was trying to fatten her up ?0
