Thanks jeannieblue.
Actually, I'm a bit worried, because we already signed the paperwork for a Red Corsa Club, and it's been ordered! Now I have to tell him that I need to cancel that order and change the colour, add air con and/or change it from a Corsa Club to a Corsa Design!
Do you think that's ok? I mean, I've never bought a brand new car before. Can you change your mind after you've already signed the order form?
I've not paid any money. My old car is the deposit (haven't given that yet), and the car is being paid for on finance (organised by the dealership).0 -
If I'm honest, I don't know! All you can do is call them and ask - with luck, someone who does know, will come on and advise you.
I think, but don't know, that Harveybobbles deals in cars. Could PM them perhaps??Genie

wrong again jeanie, i do have a/c in my focus, but really dont need it,i think ive used it about 20 times in over 4 years.
i dont have the quick clear windscreen in the focus but my new transit is coming with it though,i would say this is a better buy for our climate....work permit granted!0 -
This is the Money saving forum and I reckon air con is not needed in the UK and it does cost fuel to run,it adds weight and there is a cost to maintaining aircon.0

yes it worked,its too easy!
i was in irvine today (near kilmarnock) didnt have time to go to killie, but i should be back there with more time to spare later in the week.
i might even take pictures for you to print off and throw darts at!...work permit granted!0 -
For me going without Aircon would be like going back to using a mangle for the laundy and bathing in a tin bath.
Like others I've tried with and without on the fuel computer and it makes no obvious difference.
A lot of people are saying that you don't need aircon in the UK, I couldn't disagree more. It does get uncomfortably hot here and the humidity can be horrid, all of which aircon takes care of.My eyes! The goggles do nothing!0 -
Oooh yes! You could sell them on ebay and makes loadsa money!goldspanners wrote: »yes it worked, its too easy!

Think you reckon wrong. I'll save a fortune in antiperspirant alone, not to mention runny mascara and foundation which would then have to be re applied after sweating if off in the car. This is the Money saving forum and I reckon air con is not needed in the UK and it does cost fuel to run,it adds weight and there is a cost to maintaining aircon.
And then there is the washing of the sweaty clothes - I could go on :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:Genie
