Well I managed it, I moved up from a techie to an IT Manager in a short time, how about working for a bank? Speak to Shelfstacker on here cos he used to - well work in a supermarket now works for HSBC.Sammy_Girl wrote: »I would be rubbish at IT. I know the usual Office stuff but that's about it lol. Lol - I don't think a bank would want me to work there!! I wouldn't even pass the credit check stage!
The problem is accepting a drop in salary. I'm on a good salary at my current job plus commission so would find it hard to accept a £10k+ drop a year . Even the jobs that are the same as mine are advertising at a much lower rate. I've been invited for an interview for an Area Sales Manager job, but then found that the OTE was £6k less than my basic!! I know beggars can't be choosers, but I'm not quite a complete beggar yet! 0 . Even the jobs that are the same as mine are advertising at a much lower rate.
