I would be rubbish at IT. I know the usual Office stuff but that's about it lol. I don't think I would make the grade as an IT professional :(
Well I managed it, I moved up from a techie to an IT Manager in a short time, how about working for a bank? Speak to Shelfstacker on here cos he used to - well work in a supermarket now works for HSBC.
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

Lol - I don't think a bank would want me to work there!! I wouldn't even pass the credit check stage!

The problem is accepting a drop in salary. I'm on a good salary at my current job plus commission so would find it hard to accept a £10k+ drop a year :(. Even the jobs that are the same as mine are advertising at a much lower rate. I've been invited for an interview for an Area Sales Manager job, but then found that the OTE was £6k less than my basic!! I know beggars can't be choosers, but I'm not quite a complete beggar yet!

THIS is the card people applied for. After submitting the application they were asked to ring MBNA and got offered the sub-prime version which comes with a £500 limit when you pay a £100 deposit.
