I tend to buy say , TV or Laptop - pay it off ... then with Littlewoods they sell some decent clothes. But I reckeon once my Choice shows as closed they will increase the other limits and I will have to tell them to reduce.

How old is the defaults?
I got a Vanquis whilst still having a default few years ago. I was thinking today - five years ago only could get cash card with Nationwide and a Next account (dunno how). The around four - five years ago Choice account. Two and half years ago a A+L premier account with debit card and last year a Natwest account.
Granted things are stricter now.0 -
