Brian - do you have a Cap 1 card - because one of the benefits is 2 free Equifax reports and alerts when something changes on your file - it's extremely useful and doesn't cost. Plus the C1 is a sub prime card :j

Cap 1 is one of my defaults, not registered by them it was sold to Aktiv capital.
Given my new leaf do you think I may be in with a chance?
Funnily enough, applied for my partners mum on Monday just gone, she has been accepted, got agreement yesterday at 70 yrs of age lol

I'm going to have to get my up to date credit reports as well. It's going to be a little better than it was 2 years ago as alot of my defaults should of dropped off last year :j . It's still chilling reading though. I must admit I'm a little scared of getting them .

You need to register online. They don't send the paper reports - you view them online. You should have all the relevant info with the leaflets that came with the card.

Do you still owe the money? How long ago was it sold? I think Fairmorn got a new Cap 1 card after having a default from them a few years ago.
