    i have just called vanquis with no joy still saying that we cant do a credit increase on request you have to wait till we review your account. so unfair

    that is unfair, youd think theyd do a standard check at certain points for everyone tbh

    Here's a query for you:

    How many searches on your credit file = A Bad Thing(tm)?

    I only have online access to Experian, and there are I think seven visible searches from the last twelve months. Is this a scary number?

    I think 7 searches is fine within the last 12 months ... I have about 20 ... although not all recorded searches .. :eek:

    I think I have an additional three unrecorded searches too. I am getting a little wary of applying for anything else, as I have no idea what my file with Equifax is like. I did order one, and it arrived but I've no idea where it went >_<

    I'd like to get myself a new PC, but I suspect I shall just have to wait and see what I can manage later in the year as I don't want to apply for any more credit right now.

    I'm officially laying off the apply buttons:D
