Has anyone ever had the we will get back to you message from Barclaycard. How long did it take for you to get an answer? And was it by post or phone?

you can ring them they will tell you there and then if not you will get a email saying welcome to bc etc

Just got an alert from Equifax saying 2 searches which took place on 9/1/08 have been deleted. But the alert also says this:

"Searches older than 6 months have been removed automatically from your file by Equifax."

Have they changed their rules or something? I though searches stayed on for a year?

Hi everyone.
Just spoken to my brother again and he's been building up his credit he applied today for a kays (littlewoods group) catalogue and got a £390 limit so he's slowly building his credit up as well, me relaying info to him!!

Hi cif, I thought it was 12 months not 6 months , well thats good! Have you logged in to see if the ones for over 6 months are still showing with Experian?

Hey hun.

When I look at my report some searches are listed as "current" and some as "previous". I think that with Equifax searches stay on for 6 months but are visible to the customer for a year before being permanently deleted.

Sutton, when you log on here do you go back to read what messages have been posted since you last logged off? Or is that just me!
