How have you got them removed?
Hard negotations realy, what you have to bear in mind is that the person that answer phones, only can do so much, You have to get past that hurdle and to the person who actualy does the files, And to be honest there quite helpful once you get to them.
Is all in my quest to have a clean slate, And become a green tick guru, Am actualy currently writing a book about not to get yourself in a mess lolWannabe DFW NERD: Not fully fledged member yet !

I'm going to have a go at removing my defaults. I am going to write to Egg as I have 2 with them. 1 for a loan and 1 for a CC. I am going to request a copy of the default notice that they issued me and i'm hoping that because it was so long ago, they won't still have them - and then I'll use that basis to get them removed. In an ideal world of course. But if you don't ask you don't get I suppose:)
Should I be requesting these under the Freedom of Information act? And which department should I address them to?0

also i have a defaul im going to request a cca and i did not receive a default notice how does that workyou cant change yesterdaybut you can make tomorrow better0

 Dear Sir/Madam
I DO NOT ACKNOWLEDGE ANY DEBT TO YOUR COMPANY
With reference to an agreement you believe is mine, I would be grateful if you would send me the original copy of this signed credit agreement.
I understand that under the Consumer Credit Act 1974 (Sections 77-79), i am entitled to receive a copy of our credit agreement on request.
The above applies to the true original default notice which I have never received for this so called agreement.
I enclose two postal order payments of £1.00 which represents the fee payable under the Consumer Credit Act.
I understand a copy of our credit agreement should be supplied within 12 working days.
 The default is registered to
 Mr darcy

I understand that under the Consumer Credit Act creditors are unable to enforce an agreement if they fail to comply with a request for a copy of the agreement under these sections of the Act.
If the agreement cannot be found I believe that it should be removed from my credit file as soon as possible if does not happen I will pass this case to the Financial Services Association and/or the Financial Ombudsman
I look forward to hearing from you within 12 days.
 Yours faithfully
Mr darcyyou cant change yesterdaybut you can make tomorrow better0
