i know its christmas eve but i thought id ask a question see if any other people have experienced this

we have had a certain cc for over 5 yrs at one point with a limit of 8900 but this was reduced to 3900 in november which we didn't mind so didn't complain. we currently have 1500 on the card at 0% and until middle of next year. We payed a payment of 450 pounds over 10% of the the debt on the card earlier this month. on our next statment the limit has been reduced to 3600. I've heard of peoples limits being reduced once but not repeatedly like this. we have savings and a good amount in our current account so im not sure why they keep doing this. We'd like to book a holiday in the new year but if each time we pay off the cc they then reduce the limit whats the point ?
the other alternative is to use the other credit card but that is a slightly higher apr or pay via our debit card which isn't insured if the company goes bust.

Rant over but has anybody else experienced this ?

Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.
