YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR A VANQUIS??????
I did not know this
Vanquis advertise their card 34% typical apr and with no annual fee.
New customers pay no fee. Existing customers who had the card when a £25 yearly fee existed - which includes myself - STILL PAY £25 per year.
When I first had the card my interest rate, too, was around the 35% mark.
Two and a half years later it is 50% !
And I have never missed a payment, nor paid late, etc. The latest increase was 3% in October.
I consider this to be very unfair, and next month I am cancelling the card.
O.k, they gradually raised my credit limit from £200 to £2000 which I think is the maximum - but enough is enough, and the card has to go.0 -
