Vanquis do not charge an annual fee nor the £25 you mention. The card did have an annual fee but that was a few years ago. I have re-checked my T & c and it clearly states there is no annual fee.

I'm wondering if this is a new thing because I have never once been charged an annual fee, and my balance has been 0 for a while?

There website says they don't charge, but maybes a while ago they did and this woman is still getting charged £25 coz they have forgotton to stop taking the fee, sounds plausible.
