I checked my Equi and Credit Expert reports - still says I am not on Electoral Roll. Rang up the old Credit Expert and they said although the local authorities have updated, the CRAs will take their sweet time to actually reflect the new info. Could take until January claimed the youth I spoke to at Credit Expert today. Damn pain the !!!! that is
  • anyone know what HSBC are like with credit card limit increases? Do they automatically increase it over time or do you have to ask? In my online banking I've got this link that says "Amend Limit". Since my "ABL" at the bank is £13k, I wonder how much of this they'd be willing to add to my CC limit

  • I got it about 2 weeks ago Darcy. I applied over the phone. The customer services person said it came back as Accepted but with £0 limit. He then sent it to the underwriters to be referred. I called back later that evening to say I didn't understand what they meant by £0 limit and the person I spoke with said I should have been told it was a decline but that since the earlier person had wrongly told me it'd be referred they'd decided to honour that and refer it to the underwriters. But basically it's a decline, they said. First thhing the next morning the underwriters rang me up, asked me some question about my outgoings and informed me they've approved my credit card with a £3100 limit!

Is indeed. When you apply they ask you questions based on your Equifa file and if you answer them corectly you do not have to send ID
