Hi Moneysavers,
I recently applied for a Monument Visa card and receieved a letter today saying " Thank you for you recent application for a Monument Visa Card. Unfortunatly the Monument card is currently only offered by invitation only so unfortunatly you have not been successful at this stage" We will contact you in the future regarding any further offers.
So be advised that applying for this card is a wasted search on your credit file.
Please bear this in mind.......
Let me know if any of you have receieved something similar
Cheers all.....

the more I hear about this company, the more crap they seem0 -
I am a Monument customer and think they are ok, no-frills credit card and good customer service, I think they are limiting the ammount of applicants now because they must recieve 1000's of applications every week, they open up the application screen once per 6 months. So if you were not successfull this time try again in six months.Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution.
