Hi everyone, I just applied for my very first credit card yesterday. It was referred but they called me up first thing this morning to let me know it's now been opened. It's an HSBC credit card with a credit limit of £3100. The APR is 16 point something. I'm not on the Electoral Register and the only things reporting on my credit file are one mobile phone and one current account.0

Hi Wannabee and Moneysaving
Ooh, Post Office. Is that a CC? I heard Post Office CCs are good for using abroad. Might come in handy for my honeymoon
Can we ask what bank you used to work for? We promise we won't throw stones at youIt's always good to have "inside" info
Congrats Moneysaving. Wow, what a good first limit!!!!! I have £3.1k on my MBNA and Amex, it's such a random figure. I don't know why they don't just round it to £3k lol. Onwards and upwards \o/ lol0
