Hi everyone, I just applied for my very first credit card yesterday. It was referred but they called me up first thing this morning to let me know it's now been opened. It's an HSBC credit card with a credit limit of £3100. The APR is 16 point something. I'm not on the Electoral Register and the only things reporting on my credit file are one mobile phone and one current account.

Congrats Moneysaving. Wow, what a good first limit!!!!! I have £3.1k on my MBNA and Amex, it's such a random figure. I don't know why they don't just round it to £3k lol. Onwards and upwards \o/ lol
