Hey guys
An update on getting financial associate removed from Experian, got a letter from them today and they are in process of removing, also the dispute with double entries they have contacted company involved BUT they have put a notice of correction on my file till it gets sorted and contacted all 27 companies that searched file in last 6 months OMG didn,t realise application finger had been so busy got to lay off applications so no more for 1 year till get file cleaned up and updated.All that is left now is Call Credit and to be honest they seem about as useful as a choccie teapot:rolleyes:

Hi, yes i applied online, and was around 10 days ago. So thought i would give them a call as i hadnt heard anything.

Yes, i got the 7/10 day message.

I had the same not much hope for me then was it the call that said you'd been declined or a letter?

It was a call that said i had been declined. But they said a letter would be sent out to me.

Hello, I've have a step account with natwest, i gave it one last go to upgrade to a current plus account and it said they are going to send out paperwork for me to sign and return (shocked) does this mean i have got the account. does mthis mean they have done the credit check or do they just use an internal rating? thanks

That's good news - make sure you keep on at Experian tho. When I was disputing a Lowell default, Lowell just came back and said I owed the money and Experian closed the dispute - but I opened it again, persevered and got the result

Callcredit are pants. I don't bother checking them anymore. It's a good thing that they aren't used that widely as I have 3 defaults on there, versus 2 defaults on Equifax and 0 on Experian.

AFAIK banks have their own internal scoring, so if you've been running the account well, then it sounds like you've been upgraded. Congrats!!
