About £2-50 a month interest at 1% do you know what your monthly interest rate is, anyways it,s not a great deal is it. may be less as well, probably work out at under £30 quid for the year.

Help I am thinking of reporting CAPITAL ONE but not sure where to go.
They are trying to contact me about my account - OK I get that but 7-8 silent calls from them each day for the last week is just not on!! Especially at 8am yesterday and this morning and 9.30 pm Friday night!

As a rule of thumb (I should have learned my lesson by now  ), each credit search drops your score by 30pts approx.

i finished school after doing my a-levels and started working in a nursery i completed my nvq level 2 in child care and when i started i was 19 i applied for a halifax credit card and was told to check my credit file so i did all 3 nothing not a credit account application or electrol roll info apart from the halifax search so i read up mostly on here and applied for a capital one card they approved me but with only £100 and i got a catalogue account with littlewoods around 6 months later £750 limit a year on and i still cant get a decent card! capital one did not increase my limit on the 4th statement so i feel im going round in circles not sure what do do i have around 16 searches on my file and 18 months of green 0's

Ok, first of all try MBNA as they are pretty understanding for new customers with "thin" credit files, I suggest the Virgin card, make sure that you are on the voters register and as a second try Barclaycard as they do a range of products to suite your needs. So you work as a Nursery nurse? I have got my son in a day nursery, he is 1 in November. So where in the world are you from if you dont mind me asking?

Aye, leave it alone for a bit :D , I have thrice that many on file and I must leave it for a bit before I apply, when and what file was the last search done approx?
