Been with Aqua for three years and now have been upped to a Limit of £2400 due to good payments and my old Defaults dropping off.. Last one leaves in Jan 09!! Wo Hoo!!! Clean Credit File at last... One pointer is that Aqua seem to up the Limit but also up the APR!! Im sitting on 38.9%!!! This is high enough for me not to use it anymore and thankfully I have been accepted for Abbey Zero at 18.9%....

My advice is that if you can not get Mainstream Cards then try them as I have no issues with Aqua apart from the recent APR hikes which make the Card far too expensive to justify!!

    Hope this helps!!!

No No-too scared, think i will just sit it out and wait but will def let you all know. It does seem to be pot luck on here who gets accepted and who doesnt-perhaps these companies have some sort of secret formula OR maybe they can see something we cant!!!

Dunno if I have done wrong here , I have my card with 0% balance transfers on and used last night to pay for a family meal (meant to use a different card) . Will that screw me up , when I get my statement , and with the repayments? I have since read this morning on here that maybe you should'nt spend on a 0% BT card.

Does the card have 0% on purchases if so you'll pay no interest on the purchase until after it runs out. when it does you will continue to pay interest till the BT is payed off. won't be much though if the apr is low..

    hello there cd87
there,s no points as such, but a rule of thumb is roughly about 4+ searches per year would not harm you, MR P will no better exactly how many over a period of time.. i do know a lot of searches harm your chances of being accepted..

No just 0% on balance transfers.
