My account is a Premier, but the card has like a water/pool effect in the background and the A & L Logo in the top left, although i did recieve it today, and the one you mention may be an old design or a CC

So, I was thinking that we're all getting quite pally on here now. It'd be cool to know a bit more about each other - nothing too personal tho cos this is an open forum lol - a bit like Sub Primers Anonymous lol.

Me, I am 29 and live in the Big Smoke (London). I am engaged to be married in 2009. I have no children. I would like to one day, but feel I'm far too young right now lol. But I do have a dog, who is the love of my life My debt at its worst was £20k, and is now down to £3k. Had it not been for this thread and the wonderful people on here, I would never have applied for another CC ever again. I am now the proud owner of a Cap 1, Vanquis and MBNA. And I have had my fingers burnt before and 100% have learnt from my mistakes.

been in the army for 8 and a half years been all over the world and was in iraq in 2003 for the war stage of op telic i have 3 medals in all i was a widow at 22 and thats where i fell with the credit file as bills were the last thing on my mind as i was left with a young son of just 4 months who has just turned 5 he is naughty but he is mine and would never have it any other way!!!

i have a mbna card for just under a month and just been accepted fr cap one card tto life is on its way up in the credit world for me!

I'm Male 24, engaged, i currently have about £20k of debt, although it is all manageable debt. I have Just managed to secure a CC for Cap one, current account from A & L and a Student Account from Barclays. I am paying off my debt now and intend never to get as deep as I am now again!

I hope Sammys OH doesn't view this thread lol! Seriously though i have the upmost respect for you bringing up a child on your own!

A&L wouldn't look at me but Halifax gave me a 2in1 Visa debit with £500 overdraft. Their customer service has been impeccable so far. I had one charge a year ago when I got a date of a DD mixed up and they refunded the charge over the phone.

OH is too busy working to pay for my wedding lol

I too have a lot of respect for Darcy. He has coped extremely well for someone so young. I can imagine a little Darcy running round lol
