You bothered because you worked your !!!! off to pay off your debts, and now you want to clean up your credit file to reflect your new found respect for credit. As long as its used correctly, credit can be a good thing. I think all of us here can testify to that. I appreciate my CCs a lot more now than I ever used to.

i think sammy is dead right as a few years ago most on this thread was eith ignorant,clumsy,or just stupid with credit(no offence intended) but now we went through that stage not man or beast would let us go back to those days and the even worse ones just after you have recieved defaults, ccj, or even bankrupcy

I do, I have got Visa debit, cheque book and small O/D, service is ok but prefer HBOS that is who I am with now.

nah no problems just wanted to know (see) the debit card that comes with the premier account! i saw someone pay with a a & l visa card today in the local shop on my way home it was well nice just wondered what account it came with
it had like orange squares on it!! vague but cant really describe like mr p said a picture says a thousand words!!! so any pics.....lol

no , started an application with them a few days ago but have not finished it,

We have a Cashcard account with Halifax which has over £3k a month going in , savings accounts with almost £3k, never had a bank charge adn Halifax will not give us a current account with a debit card so probally no hope with anyone else either.
