I applied when I had a default on my experian credit report, but equifax was clean. Sygma Bank only searched equifax, so I'm not sure I would have been accepted if they had searched experian.

Also Barclaycard was the same. I was accepted because they only checked equifax.

I have the other cards, Capital One/Vanquis/Aqua, and am now trying to pay the remaining balances off so I can close the accounts.

I have also been accepted for the MBNA card following the link on here. I sent my deposit off on Monday :)

Have any of our fellow sub primers tried the Halifax Classic. I've got this with a £1900 limit and I've had it for 6 years or so. Just been looking on the website and it is aimed as a credit builder. APR is 27.9% so slightly better than the others:

    Darcy, I dare you.............................................lol

Good news about the MBNA :j .

It's just so random about the CRAs! Anything I apply for from now on I'm only going to use lenders who search Experian, as they're my good one lol!!

When I completed my application for the all saints card (same issuer) I also got this message.

A credit agreement was sent out to me within 10 days to sign. The card came soon after.
