My advice re HSBC is GO FOR IT...
Get this.. my 70 year old mother in law, no real credit history, not good with money applied for Capital One Card.. Only income is part pension topped up with DLA, starting limit £500

This is a company who told you that they could give you credit anymore two months ago!! What a bizarre company.

I want a Next account and also scared of being declined.
Applied previously in Sept last year and they said no but now I'm on electoral roll and a few more green zero's so maybe??
