I got refunded under these circumstances yesterday (Finest minced beef going thru at 2 for £3, although shelf still had a big 2 for £2.50 notice which expired 30/10).
Was refunded without hassle and even got an apology for the inconvenience.0 -
Yep I got £4.99 back for a bottle of wine with an out of date reduction ticket. CS admitted that they shouldn't hae left the ticket on the shelf and gave me the money back without any argument0

You should have been given a full refund Tony, I do remember reading about that. Unfortunately voicing an opinion on these boards can lead to a slating, although the majority of money savers are fab!

Don't stop posting because of small minded people. Most of the people who moan about an overcharge are more than likely jealous that they did get the oc item themselves. I know if I had the chance to get free alcohol I would, as I haven't so what at least somebody has. Just jealous words off jealous people with no free alcohol who like to try and put people down. Please don't stop posting as people like you are what makes this site worth wile visiting for a good bargain

I was told by a cs in Tesco today that "actually we don't have to sell at the lowest advertised price - the price printed on the packet is the one that we are liable for"!!! This was over some Finest bacon - price on packet £2.48 - SEL £2.06. I had two packs. I expressed surprise, but she assured me it was so, but said she'd r&r as a matter of goodwill "on this occasion"! I just said "Thank you" nicely[0

Well if the store cannot get it right after the balls up with the last one then they deserve to be shown the error of their ways!!!
Once is excusable, twice is unacceptable....especially on such a high value item!Fight Poverty - Hit a tramp!
