It is 1 specific store (maybe others) that have put the SEL labels in wrong place/s.0 -

[Was refused refunds for both products on the grounds that
1) the poster was out of date for cd and the SEL was correct.
They said it was last weeks poster - I wasnt allowed to check the poster after CS had their hands on it.

I now accompany CS to the area/misprice in question. Wisest, if you can - I accept it may be less easy if you have little ones with you. But it also keeps encounters straight e.g. limits badmouthing to other staff until you are gone(not always though!)CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:

I had this @ Chiswick Xpress and Hammersmith (Kings Street) the staff would not take vouchers and did not even offer a refund. Very poor.
The Tesco on the A4 at Osterly is good on the whole, coupons, etc no problem.mustgetoutmore wrote:Just tried this out for the first time in Tesco Express, Chiswick High Road. I found Thin Beef Steak cheaper on the shelf than the packet (have posted in the relevant thread) so took all 5 packets to the checkout and sure enough, they went through at the higher price. As its an Express, there was no customer service area, so I spok directly to the manager. I had to show him the label on the shelf and then he said he would either refund the difference or give me my money back but keep the items. When I explained Tesco's pricing policy to him (!) he still refused to believe me so I sent him off to speak to head office. He did make me feel very uncomfortable and was quite agressive about the whole thing. 10 minutes later he came back and gave me the refund but was not exactly apologetic. There was also lean mince beef priced £2.00 on the shelf and £2.01 on the packet but I was too embarrassed to try and get that refunded so I don't know what the price was throught he till (no scanning machines).
Anyway, very glad I did stand my ground and next time I will be taking along a copy of the policy from their website.Seth.0 -

At the end of the day they have advertised an offer regardless of it being out of date so you expect to be charged the price of that offer. It is down to them to remove out of date offers so this does not occur.
