    You are a star, picked up the sat nav from coalville aldi. I do about 25k miles a year so any hours saved will be great cheers mate
    The best work is the cheapest as the quality remains long after the price is forgotten

    Has any one figured out how to enter a location by just imputing the the post code yet.
    A friend of mine has bought one and I can't figure it out for him. I use a tomtom one and you just enter the post code in the address box but this doesn't seem to be available on Medion unit.
    Am I just missing something really obvious?

    Thanks

    Bry... ::)

    What urks me about this is that I called the Aldi help-line yesterday and asked if any SatNavs were stiill available in any of the stores. I was then told that there "are no more available in any store in the UK. They are completely sold out.." -- I asked if she could check for availability at the Coalville store as there were reports some were still in stock.. point blank I was told "no there are not.."

    Grrh .. Seems like she was wrong!

    Either way, I think they have a policy that they will not send to another store unless its within a certain range.. so there would have been little chance (Manchester) ..

    Sod it ..
  • to answer the pot code question it will only accept the first 5 digits so NE4 9 instead of NE4 9PD

    Dont know why, shame though!

    sorry - can't do quotes (so I've no hope of working the sat-nav) but if donnie D knows if Coalville aldi still have any I'm sure I could post one up to Manchester for cost plus postage.
