You are a star, picked up the sat nav from coalville aldi. I do about 25k miles a year so any hours saved will be great cheers mateThe best work is the cheapest as the quality remains long after the price is forgotten0 -
Has any one figured out how to enter a location by just imputing the the post code yet.
A friend of mine has bought one and I can't figure it out for him. I use a tomtom one and you just enter the post code in the address box but this doesn't seem to be available on Medion unit.
Am I just missing something really obvious?
Thanks
Bry... ::)I'd like to die the same way as my father, peacefully in his sleep and not like his screaming passengers.0 -

What urks me about this is that I called the Aldi help-line yesterday and asked if any SatNavs were stiill available in any of the stores. I was then told that there "are no more available in any store in the UK. They are completely sold out.." -- I asked if she could check for availability at the Coalville store as there were reports some were still in stock.. point blank I was told "no there are not.."
Grrh .. Seems like she was wrong!
Either way, I think they have a policy that they will not send to another store unless its within a certain range.. so there would have been little chance (Manchester) ..

to answer the pot code question it will only accept the first 5 digits so NE4 9 instead of NE4 9PD
Dont know why, shame though!0 -

sorry - can't do quotes (so I've no hope of working the sat-nav) but if donnie D knows if Coalville aldi still have any I'm sure I could post one up to Manchester for cost plus postage.0
