Aldi Sat Nav PDA's and PC's

Options
All

Just to let everyone know Aldi are doing their Sat Nav PDA's and PC's again. The PDA's go on sale next Thursday, priced at £249.99. Very likely to sell out within hours if like the last time!

The PC's I believe are available from the end of November (I've seen a leaflet advertising them). No details on spec or price yet though. Typing this on a Medion pc I got from Aldi last year, well recommended!

Cheers :)

Hmm, got to disagree, not stupid cheap prices but very very good for the quality of the products...there must be a reason why most of the specials sell out usually within a day.

The sat-nav package looks really good value for money, considering similar packages sell for around £400.(without 256 cards)
    The pda looks ok

The Gericom Laptop PC for £999 looks good value to me for the spec.
  • I can vouch for the Satnav PDA since my mate just used one all weekend for navigating a 700 mile round trip and he loved it.

Never come across Medion before but £249 is v. cheap for a satnav system.

when i bought my sat-nav system i was advised that the bluetooth receivers aren't as reliable as wired versions.........check out some of the pda/sat nav forums

.......and I can vouch for PC's ...purchased the Medion MD8080 last year - top of range PC then and still pretty high spec now - was very good value and havent had a single hardware fault with it.

I think the new Aldi/Medion PC will be the MD 8083.

Pretty much identical to mine but with a 200gb HD

I have the Tom Tom Bluetooth receiver and it works really well. I get about seven hours use out of it on a full charge, and it's worked fine with Tom Tom 2 and 3 using my Ipaq 1940. I got mine from Ebay about a year ago for £95, sold by Uk Tec, who are part of one of the previously mentioned shops (I don't remember which since I studied them all, sorry).
