Estate agents- any sympathy?

I don’t really care for the profession but it’s not great when people lose their jobs no matter what the profession

We own our own Estate Agents and things are tough - it's so bad we are now having to wash the Ferrari ourselves!

Not only do I have no sympathy, I'm actually pleased to see them suffer.
A totally damning list. The case is settled then. And I thought they only beat their wives and molested children........:rotfl:0 -
... but their biggest crime is the silly cars they drive around in!0

They don't have wives and frankly aren't even capable of molesting children - they get beaten up by toddlers.
And quite right too.
Where estate agents should be:

Despite the antipathy I have felt towards some of more unpleasant EAs I have had dealings with , that's a truly offensive post IMO Arabianights0

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:My home is usually the House Buying, Renting and Selling Forum where I can be found trying to (sometimes unsucessfully) prove that not all Estate Agents are crooks. With 20 years experience of Sales/Lettings and having bought and sold many of my own properties I've usually got something to say
Ignore......check!0 -

It's not offensive, it's pathetic.
Despite the fact that I really don't have any passion whatsoever regarding the "credit crunch" and house price gains or losses either real or perceived, or whether someone I have no involvement with loses their job, I certainly wouldn't bother making any comment on the fact.0 -

I was gently suggesting that the level of discussion on here was becoming OTT and childish but, apparently, you don't do moderation.
Earlier, I suggested that, like teachers, DWP employees and dustmen, EAs come in a huge assortment, so tarring them all with the same brush is just stereotyping. However, unlike the other occupations mentioned, the consumer gets to choose the agent they employ, and I think it is quite likely that shysters & plonkers are employed by poorly informed or like-minded individuals.0
