funny you should say that as a visiting friend last night suggested approaching the papers with this
Clearly the sunday tabloids will be gagging for your story and will all try to out bid each other for the exclusive rights to this huge front page story!Think any newspapers would pay for that kinda story?, should be cheap about £150!!
You need to employ a PR man for this one, expect to recieve at least £250k for this earth shattering story.
And then there's the personal apperances and a possible book deal...."Love you Dave Brooker! x"

1 Company takes money for faulty goods and refuses refund as per SOGA
2 Company deals very badly with customer incl. re-directing his email to the "SPAM" box
3.Just before court hearing company squirms out claiming it will cost too much to travel to court
4. Company makes offer to settle but rejects counter-offer on basis it is 7p higher
5. Dopey consumer admits on a public forum to having not read T&Cs?"Love you Dave Brooker! x"

funny you should say that as a visiting friend last night suggested approaching the papers with this, he figures (he was a little merry at time), but he painted a nice story from a political angle "the state of the country today"

(so company would rather go to court than pay an extra 7p)

oh dear dave brooker is back out from under his bridge,, though i suppose you are close ,

Which court deals with the case
If the case is for £15,000 or less, it can be started in any county court.
The court will then transfer the case automatically to the defendant’s nearest county court if:- the case is defended, and
- the claim is for a fixed amount, and
- the defendant is an individual, not a company.

A contested court case
If a defence is entered, the case will progress to a hearing or trial at the defendant's local court. Unless an agreement is reached first a judge will decide the case.Ex forum ambassador

Thank you Browntoa, you've just posted confirmation of what I posted earlier.
I do not believe this case has been delayed for one month because the company had a problem traveling to court.
This has (if anything) cast doubt on the whole case (thread) for me. It's fine the OP espousing on the virtues of their case, but this whole thing is beginning to approach the realms of fantasy/willful belief too much for me to take seriously.
I'm actually gutted that we have another month of this thread with no proper resolution. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

what the hell are you talking about?, you said pretty much the same thing in the other thread and it was refuted.
Fantasy, fairytale??
if you honestly believe any company would take this sort of abuse without every word being true then it is you who are too deluded for belief.
oh and trust me there is no one more gutted than i amclick here to achieve nothing!0 -
I can't believe the detail and research that is going into this thread.........Genie
