Ebay: theft on a massive scale !!!

On the very same day that Ebay brought into effect their new feedback system whereby sellers cannot leave negatives for buyers, I had a proliferation of customers claiming they have not received their items...coincidence?...I think not!!!

EBAY BUYERS NOW HAVE AN 'OPEN INVITATION' TO STEAL.

Thats news to me, haven't been on ebay for a while. You can't leave neg feedback for buyers. Utterly ridiculous!

If you follow the rules and send via trackable means you won't have this problem ;)
I would have used my own initiative if someone would have told me to!

Surely you should still be allowed to leave -ive feedback. There are many reasons for wanting to do that.

It puts buyers off, thus cutting down ebay's profits.

Just as not taking paypal cuts down on ebay's profits.

Ever noticed that all these changes that are made to improve buyer experiance also just happen to improve ebay's profits?

    Exactly.

Now sellers may well be 'forced' to send items via Recorded or Special Delivery........which all adds up.

Recorded is 70 odd pence extra and Special delivery is just expensive full stop.

    I ain't happy at all.

    Well, you can't anymore!

The items I sell are low in value (under£35) & it is not financially practicle to send them by these expensive methods.

Surely its better to pay an extra 70p per item than to have people claiming they didnt receive the item and ebay/paypal making you give a full refund?
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

In addition to the above post I just put add the 70p to your postage charge on your items and then technically its not costing you anything!

Don't you think I tried that!?

    That's how I know it's financialy non-viable...

    PLUS

...Ebay cancelled my auctions for charging "excessive postage & packaging"...

    I can't win either way.
