    Wow....
I think i'm going to do what Briank suggested and make one huge file by pasting lots of smaller pictures!

Too bad i'm not rich enough to buy a 12mp camera ;)

Surely this A2 resolution pixel size problem only applies to all those trying to "blow up" an image from a DIGITAL camera.

Anyone with a suitable photograph AND a HALF DECENT SCANNER can create the "megapixel image" file that Epson require.

    A 1200 x 1200 DPI scan of a 6" x 4" photograph makes an image 7200 x 4800.

    This is actually 34,560,000 pixels

    34.5 MEGApixels !!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Help anyone ?

  • Checked...'Properties' -> 'Summary' - of the pic I want to use and it showed as
      width 1728 pixels
      hight  2304 pixels

    Botheration!

Just had email from Epson to say pic rejected as its only 72 pix per inch and needs to be 180 pix per inch.

    thanks for this
  • Just put in for my code and going back to the site it now says they have temporarily closed the print centre due to the overwhelming demand.

However they do say it will be back soon.

Will have to keep checking to see when next available.

  •      [glow=red,2,300]!  WOW WOW WOW  ![/glow]

Print just arrived and it is AB FAB!  Chose linen weave finish and it looks great...nice soft colour...could almost be a portrait.

Arrived beautifully packed with tissue in a big cardboard tube thingy.  Didn't mind postie waking me up at 6.45 a.m. for this!

Got to be, (imo), one of the nicest freebies ever...not perhaps the most 'valuable' in moneysaving terms but certainly made me a happy bunny  ;D

Jolsa....thank you, thank you, thank you  bowdown.gif
    Nice to save.
