Free A2 size Epson print

Hurrah! - my first freebie spot !;D

Epson are offering to print an image up to A2 size (resolution of original image permitting). !You have to send them the file on a cd.

Official insert: Ensure your pictures are 180 pixels per inch before sending your CD. Epson are apparently rejecting applications that don't meet the criterion

Thanks for this - does anyone know how the required minimum pixel sizes shown relate to megapixels - I may want to take a new picture knowing I can get it printed out A2?

to find out how many megapixels you require, just multiply the 2 numbers together and divide by a million (a megapixel is a million pixels)

so from my calculations you would need a camera capable of taking 12.5 megapixel pictures, in order to meet the minimum requirements for the A2 print!!!

Nice but its hard for me to fidn any pictures with the minimum pixels needed for a A2 print. Also pretty hard to find for A3 :S and I dont want a A4 print Ill keep having a look.

I know this might sound really stupid but how do you know what size your pic is in pixels mega pixels and so on.Sorry but i dont have a clue.I can use the digi cam ok but thats as far as it goes,and yes before some of you think it iam blonde and having a major blonde moment

Megapixels=posh word for number of little dots.. :P
Somewhere on the front of your camera there will probabaly be some advertising (they like to show off how many megapixels they have) to tell you...

i.e. 2.1Megapixels = 2.1million dots etc..

For the A3 prints you are really looking at 8+ Megapixels for good quality
