Thanks rev, I've already had a look at those. Tempting but I just don't need video and I didn't really want to spend that much. But still. Hmmm.
On another note the sleek on ebay I posted the link to, says in bold red that it doesn't work with xp professional. Surely this can't be right? Anyone know?
    Thanks again people.

In my humble opinion; stick with Sony.

I have had all sorts, including Creative which I use now, but would always choose the Sone, pennies permitting.

I wouldn't touch Apple if my Moving Picture Experts Group Audio Layer 3 depended on it....

I've never seen a Sony product that was better than the competition and their tendency to ignore the customer experience in their OTT approach to protecting IP and forcing closed proprietary solutions is offensive. Add to that ATRAC, possibly the worst compression abomination known to man, and the picture is almost complete.

I've had a more serious look at the vision m at £90, but I've now seen that the zune 30 is available on ebay for around the same price. Is it any good? I do quite like the idea of it.

Zunes have a very good reputation. When Microsoft recently upgraded the Zune, they released a firmware upgrade which provided most of the capabilities of the new model to owners of older ones which is always a good thing in my book.

Here's a review from pre the firmware update.

Thanks fifer, I'll have a look. Atm I have my eye on this one: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Microsoft-30GB-Brown-Zune_W0QQitemZ130223364749QQihZ003QQcategoryZ73839QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Just waiting to hear back from the seller if its new. The 3 inch screen is bigger than the one on my phone so I would use it for videos, it has wifi and I'll be the only person with one! hehe.

Looks like a good deal. The add says it's new and not a recon.

That one is a recon though. The brown one claims to be new. A recon is fine though, it will be thoroughly tested by Microsoft's manufacturer.

EDIT: Sorry, I just clicked on the link and it's a tenner cheaper. They same people are selling the same thing on eBay for £89.99. £79.99 is a good buy.

I know I noticed them on ebay too! Hmm, but the brown one seems to be a private seller so no comeback and I'm not 100% sure it is brand new. What do you think?
